Chakras are spinning wheels of energy that keep our body and spirit in balance. When I carry out a Healing session I work on an animal's chakra system.
Humans have 7 major chakras represented by the colours of the rainbow (animals have an extra one on the shoulder called the Brachial chakra which is black and links to and activates all the other chakras.) Chakras interact with the physical body through the Endocrine system and Nervous system. Each of the major chakras are associated with one of the 7 Endocrine glands that secrete hormones round the body to regulate it. The Endocrine system helps maintain optimum health levels by controlling the levels of hormones secreted in the body. Chakras are also linked by a group of nerves (plexus) and the organs that lie in the vicinity of that chakra. If a particular chakra us blocked (not functioning properly) it can create problems with the area of organs it is associated with.
For example: the Throat chakra which governs the thyroid glands is associated with the vocal chords, jaw, teeth, ears, mouth, gums is responsible for communication and expression. Therefore, if an animal is shut down, misunderstood, not listened to or denied access to its companions this chakra can become blocked. The chakras all need to work in harmony so that the energy is free flowing between them for the body to be in balance.
